Week #1

1. What is the intrinsic worth and public/social value of photography as an art form?

Photography is full of colors, lights, and shapes that makes an artacting scene. It is not something you can just "Snap. Click. I've got it." It takes both time, skill, and the love for it all.  When showing a photo, you are exspresing feelings convyed thrugh a photo. It can be a political view of something or a compassion for nature.  When the veiwer sees the photograph, they are conecting to what the photographer saw and felt while taking the photo. That is what truly makes photography an art.

2. How Does Our Culture Participate in Visual Imagery?

Our culture uses visuals to dscribe and to allow a conection for many subjects. It can be to tell a story, to convey and opinion, or to show how good or bad something is. Our culture practially relies on visual imagery so  we can "know" things for ouselves.

Week #2

1. Photography is a HUGE way of converying my emotions and stories in life.

2. Advertisers use photography to convey emotion or beuty in something to attract veiwers attention to the product.

3. One of the problems I want to convey in photography is the "popularity" and obssesions kids have with thechnology these days. There is so many things in it that are holding teens and kids back using techology that needs to be reconized and stopped.

4. I want them to show my side and views of this world that we live in today.

Week #3

1.  The Rule of Thirds is a "system" or guideline technique for more of the theme/emotion to be conveyed in a photo. When using te rule of thirds, you are making sure 2 out of the 4 pionts, from where the 6 lines meet, are landing on your main subject.

2. Design is used in photography when finding a pattern of colors, objects, what is in focus/ nt in focus, and etc. You can determine what techniques go into the design of your photographs and which ones don't.

3. You can engae a veiwer or keep their interest by having a theme to your art.  When you have a theme, you can use objects, colors, and etc to explain a story through the art. This grabs the viewers attention and allows thekm to think on the art.

Week #4

1. A photographer can manage the lighting/ amount of light through apture and by focusing on a certian depth. Alos, you can use your surroundings to manage the light that comes through hte scene, such as when your are takinf pictures of leaves in bushes or tres.
